Steering Committee Approves Proposals of AFI

The Multi Disciplinary Steering Committee in the Sports Ministry has approved the following proposals submitted by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI) in its meeting held on 18th May under the Chairmanship of Secretary (Sports) .

a). training programme of Mr. Renjith Maheshwari and Mr. Ankit Sharma, Jumpers along with Mr. Shivilli, Foreign Coach at Italy.

b). Inclusion of Mr. Ifran K.T. and Mr. Sandeep Singh, Walkers as core probables for OPEX-2012.

c). Joining of Ms. Renu Kohli, Athletic Coach (Long & Middle Distance Runners) to the long & Middle Distance core probables training at Italy.
