India has offered a platform to institutes of chartered accountants of South Asian countries to come together to develop their professional skills to meet the world competition. A conference of like-minded institutions was held in New Delhi some time ago to bring them on a common forum. The conference was held under the name and style of South Asian Federation of Accountants. It was convened by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India which functions under the Ministry of Company Affairs.
