The NLMs are empanelled after a nationwide advertisement and subsequent selection and training. Once deployed, the NLMs work in close co-ordination with District Authorities and other officials who are involved in implementation of various schemes of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. The NLMs are required to interact with both implementing agencies as well as beneficiaries to find out the problems associated with implementation.
