The Ministry of Company Affairs has taken the following initiatives towards introduction of varied activities under the Investor Education & Protection Fund (IEPF):
Education programmes through Media (Electronic as well as print media);
Registration of voluntary associations or institutions or other organizations and providing financial assistance to them for projects on Investor’s Education and Protection including research activities;
Coordinating with other institutions/ organizations engaged in Investor education, awareness, and protection activities.
This information was given by the Minister of Company Affairs Shri Prem Chand Gupta in reply to a question raised by Shri Rayapati Sambasiva Rao in Lok Sabha today.
