There
is no reported death of Indian nationals in captivity of the pirates.
The Indian Navy had no direct role
in the rescue of the above ships.
The Government has approved deployment of Indian Naval warship with helicopters
and marine commandos in the ships during passage
between (The presence of Indian Navy in the area will help to protect Indian sea
borne trade and instill confidence in Indian sea faring community as well as work
