Rajya Sabha prorogued

Rajya Sabha has been prorogued by the President Shri Pranab Mukherjee on March 28, 2015. This marks the end of the 234 Session of Rajya Sabha that began on February 23, 2015 as a part of the Budget session of Parliament and continued till March 20, 2015.

The Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs met on March 27, 2015 and recommended prorogation of Rajya Sabha.
