The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has greeted the Nation on the auspicious occasions of Vaisakhi, Tamil New Year's Day and Mesadi. In a message, the Prime Minister said that these harvest festivals give us an opportunity to salute our farmers for their great contribution to the Nation’s food security.
May Vaisakhi, Tamil New Year's Day and Mesadi this year usher in peace, prosperity and happiness for all, the Prime Minister added.
