The President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, has condoled the passing away of the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, Dr. I.G. Patel.
The President, in a condolence message said, “Dr. I.G. Patel was known to me and I had worked with him on many occasions. Dr. Patel has contributed in a big way to the nation through innovation in economic policies and economic development itself”.
