A Commemorative prayer meeting was held here today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and first anniversary of the International Day of non-violence.
The meeting which was held at Gandhi Smriti was attended among others by the Vice President of India H.E. M.H. Ansari, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Smt.Sonia Gandhi. School children recited Communal Harmony songs and Bhajans were rendered on the occasion.
