The Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, has congratulated Shri Vijaypat Singhania on breaking the world record in hot air balloon flying on November 26, 2005. In a congratulatory letter to Shri Singhania, Dr. Singh said, “The example set by you to reach new heights is an inspiring example.”
Dr. Manmohan Singh expressed the hope that the feat would ‘motivate all our citizens to similarly seek new heights in whatever they do – in business, in sport, in work, in art and in every walk of life’. You have shown both courage and determination and combined a spirit of adventure with careful planning and execution, the Prime Minister added. The Prime Minister said that they must motivate all of us in whatever walk of life we seek our destiny.
