The Environment and Science and Technology Minister of Nepal Shri Mahanta Thakur called on the Minister for Steel, Chemicals and Fertiliser Shri Ram Vilas Paswan here today and discussed matters of mutual interest. The visiting Minister recalled traditional friendly relations between the two countries. Expressing similar sentiments Shri Paswan said that we have to work together to further deepen existing relations between the two nations.
Shri Thakur is also a Central Committee Member and treasurer of the Nepali Congress. He was the Deputy Speaker in the House of Representatives elected in 1991.
