Nation pays tributes to Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak on his 150th Birth Anniversary. At a simple ceremony in the capital today, the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh paid floral tributes at the statue of the freedom fighter. Urban Development Minister Shri S. Jaipal Reddy, Culture and Development Minister Smt. Ambika Soni and Minister of State for Urban Development Shri Ajay Maken also offered floral tributes to Bal Gangadhar Tilak. Delhi Lt. Governor, Shri B.L. Joshi, Chief Minister Smt. Shiela Dixit also participated in the function. The BJP leader Shri Lal Krishna Advani also paid floral tributes to the late leader. Several other dignitaries and senior officials also participated in the function.
