Narendra Singh Tomar Takes Over as New Union Steel Minister

Shri Narendra Singh Tomar has taken over as new Union Minister of Steel here in New Delhi today. Shri Tomar is a Lok Sabha member (BJP) from Gwalior Constituency of Madhya Pradesh. The Minister was briefed on the key initiatives and policy frame work of the Ministry by Secretary, Steel and other senior officials of the Ministry.

Briefing the media, Shri Tomar said he will soon have a meeting with Senior Officers in the ministry to understand and solve the problems in the steel sector. He said the growth of the country depends on the growth of the steel sector.
