Mrs. Jyotsna Diesh , officer of Indian Postal Service has taken over as Secretary, Department of Posts and Director General (Posts) today afternoon, subsequent to the retirement of Dr U. Srinivasa Raghavan. She belongs to 1969 batch of Indian Postal Service. Prior to this appointment, she was working as Member Postal Services Board.
Mrs. Jyotsna Diesh had worked in key assignments including Chief Post Master General, Delhi Circle from 2002 to 2005. Earlier she worked in National Project Construction Corporation.
