The total value of mineral production covering metalliferrous and industrial minerals excluding atomic, fuel and minor minerals in November, 2003 is estimated at Rs.618 crore against Rs. 541 crore in November, 2002. The total value of these minerals produced during October, 2003 was Rs. 603 crore.
