LOK SABHA
The Policy for the Maritime Sector, which is under finalization, seeks to combine vision and strategy for the sector through harmonious and coordinated development of our maritime assets including the ports, shipping, inland water transport systems and the ship building and ship repair industries. The locations for setting up deep-sea-ports have not been identified.
This information was given by the Minister of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways, Shri T.R. Baalu in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.
