The total value of mineral production covering metalliferrous and industrial minerals, excluding fuel, atomic and minor minerals in January 2004 is estimated at Rs.676 crore against Rs. 622 crore in the corresponding month of the previous year. The total value of these minerals was Rs. 662 crore in the month of December, 2003.
