Union Minister of I & B and Culture, Shri S.Jaipal Reddy has condoled the death of renowned journalist V.K. Madhavan Kutty. In his message, Shri Reddy said,
“I am deeply shocked to know that renowned journalist and writer V.K.Madhavan Kutty has passed away.
Madhavan Kutty was a prolific writer, known for his incisive yet simple style. His writings reflected the aspirations of a common man. Deeply rooted in the Malayali ethos, he proved to be an ambassador of Kerala for the nation. A fearless writer, he upheld the ideals of journalism. His recognition with the Sahitya Akademi award and the Padmashree is testimony of his commitment towards work. In his demise the nation has lost a veteran and upright journalist.
My heartfelt condolences for the bereaved family.”
