Himalayan Meteorology

The Government has approved the Integrated Himalayan Meteorology programme in August 2014. Currently efforts are on for launching procurement of all envisaged observing systems and hence no expenditure is incurred so far.

This information was given today by Minister of Science and Technology and Earth Sciences Dr. Harsh Vardhan in a written reply to Lok Sabha question.
