Shri H.C. Gupta, a U.P. Cadre IAS Officer of 1971 batch took over as the Coal Secretary, Government of India, today. Before this he was the Member, Administration in the National Highway Authority of India. He took over from Shri P.C. Parakh who retired on December 31, 2005.
