Grants-in-aid to Himachal Pradesh under RGNDWM

Rajiv Gandhi National Drinking Water Mission (RGNDWM) grant-in-aid amounting to Rs.1.00 crore has been sanctioned by the Ministry of Rural Development to the State Government of Himachal Pradesh as extended first instalment for undertaking IEC & HRD activities relating to National Rural Drinking Water Quality Monitoring & Surveillance Programme (NRDWQM&SP) during the year 2006-07. Out of these, an amount of Rs.22.16 lakh for IEC activities and remaining Rs.78.39 lakh should be utilized for HRD activities as per the guidelines.

The funds for undertaking these activities are to be transferred to Community & Capacity Development Unit established in the State.

This release is for plan expenditure. The funds are to be utilized for the purpose for which it is released and as per the terms and conditions. The release is on the basis of norms for each activity as per the guidelines.
