Global Center for Nuclear Energy Partnership
At the Nuclear Security Summit in Washington, Prime Minister, on 13 April 2010, has announced setting up a âGlobal Centre for Nuclear Energy Partnershipâ, A state-of-the art facility based on international participation from International Atomic Energy Agency and other interested foreign partners, in India. Setting up of the Centre would be in a phased manner.
This was stated by Shri Prithviraj Chavan, Minister of State (I/C) for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences in the Rajya Sabha today.
