Funds Allocated for JNNURM

The projects under Jawahar Lal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) are implemented by States through Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) and Parastatals. Out of total sanctioned 552 projects under UIG Sub-Mission of JnNURM, 163 projects have been reported completed and remaining are at various stages of implementation. Under UIDSSMT of JnNURM, out of total sanctioned 807 projects, 260 projects have been reported completed and remaining are at various stages of implementation.

Under UIDSSMT of JNNURM, 807 projects have been approved for 672 towns/cities.

This information was given by the Minister of State for Urban Development Smt. Deepa Dasmunshi in a written reply to a question in Rajya Sabha today.
