The Union Cabinet today gave its ex-post facto approval of the Extradition Treaty between India and South Africa signed on October 16, 2003, and also authorised the ratification of the Treaty.
The Treaty would provide the legal framework for seeking extradition of terrorists and other criminals from and to the Republic of South Africa.
