has been implementing Integrated Handlooms Development Scheme (IHDS) since 2007-08 for holistic and sustainable development of handloom weavers. The scheme inter-alia has two main components i.e. cluster development programme and group approach project for development of weavers groups. Under the cluster development programme, each cluster of about 300 to 500 handlooms is covered whereas under group approach projects, 10 to 100 weavers are covered.
