Army Hospital gets its First Lasik Surgery Centre

The first ever Kerato-Refractive Surgery (Lasik Surgery) Centre of The Armed Forces was inaugurated at Army Hospital (R&R), here today by Lt Gen Yogendra Singh, Director General Armed Forces Medical Services in the presence of Maj Gen OP Mathew, Commandant, Army Hospital (R&R).

Lasik surgery will help in correction of complex refractive errors and the problems of the anterior surface of the eye ball. Lt Gen Yogendra Singh brought out that a long standing need of the service clientele has been fulfilled. Maj Gen OP Mathew said that the dept of Ophthalmology at Army Hospital (R&R) is now equipped to offer competent management of the eye diseases available at any nationally reputed eye center in the country.
