Iron ORE Production

The Minister of State for Mines, Steel, Labour and Employment, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that crude Steel production in India has increased from 78.42 Million Tonne in 2012-13 to 81.54 Million Tonne in 2013-14.

In a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said, there is sufficient availability of iron ore to meet the domestic requirement at present.
