(a) whether the incidents of fire have occurred at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi recently;
(b) if so, the details thereof;
(c) whether some important documents including thesis of students have been lost in the blaze;
(d) if so, the details thereof; and
(e) whether the Government has assessed the reasons for the fire and if so, the details thereof?

(a) to (e) Jawaharlal Nehru University has reported that an incident of fire occurred in a laboratory of School of Environmental Sciences on 22nd November, 2015. It has caused a loss of equipments and documents, including lab copies of student’s theses. As per the fire report, a faulty electrical equipment was the suspected cause of fire.
