(a) whether the Government has launched any special schemes for small entrepreneurs in various States of the country including the State of Rajasthan to start or expand their business;
(b) if so, the details thereof during each of the last of three years and the current year, State-wise;
(c) the total number of entrepreneurs targeted to be covered/ benefitted under the said schemes, State-wise, scheme-wise; and
(d) the other measures taken by the Government to encourage small entrepreneurs?

(a) & (b): The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises has been implementing various schemes and programmes for promotion of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) at all India level including Rajasthan. The major schemes / programmes includes Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), Credit Guarantee Scheme, Credit Linked Capital Subsidy Scheme (CLCSS), National Manufacturing Competitiveness Programme, Cluster Development Programme, Marketing Development Assistance, Skill Development Programme, International Cooperation Scheme etc. For implementing various schemes for the development of MSMEs, Government has allocated Rs.2,700.00 crore, Rs. 2,835.00 crore, Rs.2,977.00 crore and Rs.3,327.00 crore for 2011-12, 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 respectively.
