(a) whether steps have been taken to implement schedule No. XIII prepared by the Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labour Institute (DGFASLI) under model Rule 120 framed u/s 87 of the Factories Act, 1948; and
(b) if so, the details thereof?

(a) & (b): Directorate General Factory Advice Service and Labour Institute (DGFASLI) modified Schedule XIII- Manipulation of stone, or any other material containing free silica - in the Model Factories Rules under the Factories Act, 1948. It was circulated to all the State Governments and Union Territories for incorporation in the State Factories Rules and its implementation and is also available in the public domain. State Governments and Union Territories are the competent authority to enforce Factories Act, 1948 and rules framed thereunder.
