Question : AIRPORT AT GREATER NOIDA

(a) whether the Government proposes to set up an international airport at Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh;

(b) if so, whether the techno feasibility report in this regard has been received from the State Government;

(c) if so, the details thereof;

(d) whether the Government has assessed the commercial viability of the project;

(e) if so, the details thereof; and

(f) the time by which the said airport is proposed to be constructed?

(a),(b),(c),(d),(e)&(f):- A proposal has been received from the Government of Uttar Pradesh to set up an International Airport near Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar District for which a site has been identified by the State Government. The matter is under examination.
