(a) the number of New Entities in Retail Marketing applications received in
respect of Gazette notification dated 08.11.2019, S.No.355 for setting up of new
entities in the field of marketing transportation fuel/ alternation fuel; and
(b) the details of supply and cost of fuel for new entities and whether OMC/PSU
has given consent to the new entities for allocation of fuel/alteration fuel and if
not, the reasons therefor?

(a) As per Gazette notification dated 08.11.2019, 04 applications were
received for grant of authorization to market transportation fuels for
retail marketing and authorization has been granted to these entities.
(b) This Ministry had specified a detailed Application form for the
prospective entities to apply for marketing authorization of MS and
HSD vide amendment dated 8.11.2019 to the MS and HSD Control
Order, 2005. Under this application form, an entity is required to fill
inter-alia the details of source of supply of products to be marketed
which pertains to commercial information of the said entity.
