(a) to (c) Madam, the Government has received the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) Recommendations
dated 11.05.2010 on “Spectrum Management and Licensing Framework†where the TRAI has made its recommendations
inter-alia regarding grant of telecom licences including access services licences. The TRAI has further, on
18.05.2010, requested the Government to await certain further recommendations in the matter. The Government
has constituted, on 14.07.2010, a Committee under the Chairmanship of Member(T) to deliberate on these
recommendations.
