(a) whether the Government has cancelled the General Pool Residential Accommodation to Kendriya Bhandar Central Government Employees Consumer Cooperative Society Ltd;
(b) If so, the details thereof;
(c) whether the Government is planning to scale Kendriya Bhandars to other locations in the country and if so, the details thereof, State-wise?

(a) & (b): In pursuance of the Cabinet Committee on Accommodation (CCA) decision dated 26.10.2005, the Ministry of Urban Development cancelled the allotments of General Pool Residential Accommodation (GPRA) and General Pool Office Accommodation (GPOA) allotted to Kendriya Bhandar. The Cabinet Committee on Accommodation reviewed its decision dated 26.10.2005 on 20.12.2013 and allowed retention of GPRA & GPOA, allotted to Kendriya Bhandar for further period of six months from 20.12.2013 on existing terms and conditions and also directed the Department of Personnel & Training to bring an alternative proposal for consideration of the Committee for providing accommodation/built-up space for office and retail stores of Kendriya Bhandar. Since the time period granted for retention of GPRA & GPOA to Kendriya Bhandar expired on 19.6.2014, the Department of Personnel & Training requested this Ministry to keep the eviction proceedings in abeyance till the decision of Cabinet Committee on Accommodation on this matter. Accordingly, this Ministry has kept the eviction proceedings in abeyance.
(c): There is no proposal to scale up Kendriya Bhandar stores at new locations outside Delhi at present.
